Did you ever wonder what was behind Rita's "blastia will never betray me" mindset? Well, the side novel Tales of Vesperia: Blue Sky answers that question in its first two chapters.

I've transcribed that much and plugged it into Google Translate to skim since I don't have time to do a proper translation right now - it's somewhat nonsense (and it changes Flynn's name to Enzo at one point???) but one can still get the gist of things. Here are the links!

Rita's mindset makes a lot of sense, getting betrayed at that age sucks. Thank you so much for translating the first 2 chapters! And tiny Rita is so cute 💖 would you be translating Rita's novel after Judith's? They seem to be the most connected to blastia out of the entire cast.

It seriously does--I think we can all agree that Aspio researchers aren't so hot at parenting.

There are also novels for Estelle and Karol, but since I'm definitely biased, I'd finish Judith's and Rita's first! Or at least do the first couple chapters for Rita's, not sure yet about the rest since it just seems to be a recap of game events. There is plenty of Good Stuff to come in the Judith novels so I hope I can get some more of that out soon!
